For feet that can’t be safely fitted into our Medical Grade Footwear or have special requirements that can only be met with Custom Made Footwear we offer a Custom Made Footwear service. We have had many years of experience with assessing, measuring/scanning and formulating the ideal prescription for you.

How Does the Process Work? 

First visit -  Is the initial Assessment that includes measuring your feet and discussing all the options including colour and style of footwear being made. We have recently acquired equipment to 3D scan and modify your feet shapes before being sent for the footwear to be manufactured.

Second visit -  We will check fit the shoes to ensure the fit is ideal. Occasionally we will checkfit the shoes prior to soling to be sure that they fit correctly or if any adjustments are required. Once satisfied the soles are added.

Third visit  - The final fitting of the finished shoe and ensuring that you are comfortable.

Fourth and subsequent visits - As a rule we always like to review your new footwear 2-4 weeks after fitting to find out your feedback and make alterations if required.

ORTHOTICS:
If orthotics are also worn we ensure they fit perfectly with the custom made footwear.
Any additions like heel raises will be incorporated as part of the prescription.

FUNDED?
If you are a client of the NDIS, SWEP, DVA, TAC or WorkCover we will assist and make the application. You might need a Doctors, Podiatrist or Specialist referral.
